What's it all about?

Bristol Green Capital

Good Living Week has been established by Bristol's Green Capital Partnership and Forum for the Future to provide a focus for sustainable local living - we need to face the future with optimism and forethought, inspiring change and leading by example. We also need to find ways of living that make better use of our limited resources. Bristol has a lot to offer. We also have a lot to learn.

We have brought together some of the already established events, like Festival of Nature and Bristol's Biggest Bike Ride, and added other opportunities for businesses and residents to participate in activities and discussions.

Good living can mean many different things to different people - for us, good living is about living within environmental limits. Its about good business, not big business. Its about well-being rather than fast cars and money.
